Navigating planning permission and building regulations in Glasgow can be complex. We take that stress away. Our team prepares all necessary drawings and submits applications to your local council on your behalf.
Whether it’s a simple Permitted Development application or Full Planning Permission, we liaise with the authorities to get your project approved as quickly as possible. We also handle structural engineering calculations required for building control.

What does your design and planning service cover?
Measured survey, concept design, planning drawings, submission to the local authority, building warrant package, structural engineering and coordination with building standards until approval.
Which councils do you submit applications to?
Mainly East Dunbartonshire Council for Bearsden, Milngavie and Bishopbriggs, Glasgow City Council for the city and West End, East Renfrewshire for Newton Mearns and Renfrewshire for Paisley.
How long does planning permission take in Scotland?
Householder applications are usually determined in around 8 weeks, with building warrants taking a further 6-10 weeks depending on council workload and any requests for further information.
Can you design a project you do not build?
Yes. You can use the design and planning service on its own and take the approved drawings to tender, though most clients continue with us into construction.
